REScheck Support for 2006 Energy Code
While most of the nation has moved on to newer codes, Hawaii is still using the 2006 IECC. REScheck has discontinued their support for the 2006 I-Codes. For Hawaii and steel framing, the REScheck program version 18.104.22.168 that accommodated the 2006 codes provided more envelope and equipment trade-offs making it easier to comply. Fortunately, the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory has provided the Hawaii Steel Alliance a copy of the older version which can be emailed to our members. (The file is too large to post on our site). While the PNNL no longer provides technical support, specifiers can download and use this version of the program for their submittals to the Hawaii Counties until they move on to the newer codes. Please email email@example.com and we will send you a zip file of the program (approximately 62 MB).
